Is the Church Israel? #02
Posted by TsiyonJan 14
There is a lot of confusion about what the Church is and what Israel is as presented in Scripture. This program will guide you through some key verses that will help you to make a start at clarifying this from the standpoint of first century believers in Messiah. This is a vital teaching for every believer and is also foundational to the rest of the On the Road to Tsiyon series.

Precisely! The New Covenant is made with Israel’s remnant, hidden until Adonai reveals them. Praises to YHVH, Who has preserved the Davidic lineage, and for grafting the wild olive branches to the True Olive Tree, through Yeshua HaMashiach! Praise YHVH for His Ruach Hakodesh for guiding us to all truths. Ester

YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!!! Speak it brother! The theology of the mainstream church and the translation of the scriptures is very misleading to put it lightly! And sister Ester I couldn’t have said more eloquently! He is the one to be praised for the TRUTH of his word. The truth of HIS word clearly states all over the New testament the remnant REMAINS!!!! And might I add interesting how Pentecost is mentioned after Messiah’s death!
Matthew 5:17-19 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I AM not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Well on that note the Christian church is definitely not going to be considered great in the kingdom, because they are teaching men so! By twisting the writings of Paul into what they want they are turning away from the ways of Y’shua HaMashiach! (AKA Jesus Christ) Lets not say WWJD! Lets look at what Y’shua actually did! He kept the Sabbath, Holy days, and Kosher! He was a living example of the Torah (law)! Lets imitate him and HIS example to the best of our abilities! Shalom, Summer:>)

Wow, another breathtaking lesson. I sit in awe how you managed to get the entire teaching of Who was the assembly, who are the assembly and who is the assembly to come in an hour. I have often fumbled over the right words to portray that to believers that feel that they are somehow superior to their Israelite brethren who they believe murdered their Messiah and so they self-righteously take their place in The CHURCH. How can we allow ourselves to believe that when the Scriptures are so clear that Yahweh doesn’t change. If He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, why would we think His Covenants which He calls Everlasting would change from one Covenant People to another. In order to perpetuate that lie, HaSatan dubbed it the OLD and the NEW with, as you so elequently stated….absolutely no indication in the Scriptures of a prophesized change. HaSatan has truly deceived the whole world…Praise Yah for guiding us in Truth.
I wanted to add like I described in lesson one, the Church I attended for 20 years believed that they had gone back to the first Century and was the closest to the first century believers that one wound find. When my husband and I met with the Elders to discuss our concerns over what seemed to us like error…i.e. the Scriptures taught one thing and we were doing another. Your discussion on the Pauline theology that exists in the Church today rang so true for us and had we not heard it from the Elders in our Church with our own ears, I wouldn’t have believed it. Basically, when we said, Christ kept the Torah, the Sabbath, The Commandments - all of them, and the Feasts ….we were told well, WE FOLLOW WHAT THE APOSTLES TAUGHT because that was ALL BEFORE CHRIST NAILED EVERYTHING TO THE CROSS!!!!!!!!
Moving to a totally different point in your lesson which brought something to my mind that I hadn’t thought of before. Although, I have studied and do believe that we are grafted into the Olive Tree and Israel is the Olive Tree….I couldn’t help but think hmmmm, Israel is also called The Fig Tree…why both. What came to mind is that Israel when described as the Fig Tree is referring to Israel as a Nation and When Israel is referred to as the OLIVE TREE, perhaps it is referring to the People. Since we know that not all who call themselves a Jew are a Jew, nor do I imagine that all of those who reside in Israel would be part of the Olive Tree…just some thoughts that came to mind during your lesson.
Shalom,
Christine

Shalom sisters Summer and Christine!
So uplifting to read your comments here, may I add in my bit?
“Church teachings” have misled the massive church-goers, and I have since last year as I was brought to Tsiyon.org and Eliyahu’s Hebraic roots teachings through Ruach HaKodesh, that I have kept pork and seafood off my meals. Not that I was particularly fond of them anyway, so no struggle there! : ))
Keeping kosher meals was also brought about in my walk as I sought The Ruach for answers to folks going overboard crossing the fine line to Judaism; and read a timely email-article in which the writer wrote how grieved she was that some ‘delivered Jews’ are enjoying eating bacon,
There’s a beautiful article on “Olive Tree People” at “Share what the Spirit is Saying” (under “I Am calling you to a higher place!”) Community Forum, General Discussions,
The FIG tree, is a very fruitful tree, and I’ve often lamented over the untimely immatured fruits that fall so abundantly onto the ground onto the pavements.. “what a waste and a heart-ache to the owner!” I would think; and in the spiritual case, a big heart-ache to YHWH, our ABBA. Matt 21: 19; Luke 13:6. Could this be referring to ‘churches’, which brought forth some pleasing matured fruits (truth-seekers) to YHWH’s glory? And these are the ones grafted into the True Olive Tree?! Food for thought!
Love in Yahshua,
Ester.

I am torn bewtween anger and deep sorrow everytime I think about the church I attended for several years whre it bcame routine to leave our scriptures closed while our pastor disected versus of scriture
I truly love those people and I am certain that my feelings pale in comparison to the LOVE OUR FATHER has for them. My husband believed, came to faith, was saved in our old church. May Hashem prepare their hearts to hear and obey the truth.
I cannot remeber where the scripture is …but it is prophecied that 10 people of the nations will ask 1 child of Israel to ” teach me about your GOD” . I started taking Hebrew classes last year thinking YHVH would bless me with understanding to make it easier, but that is not the case as I am learning. Each step is a battle on the road to tsiyon.
Thank You for this teaching…I still feel very alone in this world, often wondering where this path is going to take me.

“Lo, I am sending my messenger to prepare the way before me; And suddenly there will come to the temple the lord whom you seek, and the messenger of the covenant whom you desire. Yes, he is coming, says the Lord of hosts. But who will endure the day of his coming? And who can stand when he appears? For he is like the refiners fire, or like the fullers lye. He will sit refining and purifying, and will purify the sons of Levi, refining them like gold or silver that they may offer due sacrifices to the Lord The the sacrifices of Judah and Jerusalem will please the Lord, as in the days of old, as in years gone by.”

Hi Friends,
I think the Church today is by contrast much different than the believers of the 1st century Church. It’s my opinion that today’s Church more resembles Babylon, than the people of the God of Israel. I do not intend to offend anyone. Please know that.
At some point the God of Israel is going to call his people out of Babylon.
I believe it’s happening even today. I believe this program is an example of it.
May the Lord continue to bless Eliyahu in his calling.

I recently wrote about this teaching to my email ministry. A lot of people don’t know this truth or they just ignore it like the Christmas truth. I didn’t understand the Holy Spirits reasoning for instructing me to go to the source until now. The false teachings in churches around the world has become like an indoctrination. The people are wiling to beleive whatever the pastor or minister in front of them is saying. I’m trying to get my core listeners to understand that we all need to go back to the Hewbraic roots of the teachings. Read each scripture in context and understand that the time of the gentiles has passed. Israel is the church and we need to understand them to get the truth.
Shalom.

Great show, and I would second the question from Christine. Is there a difference between The land “Isreal” and the Spirit “Isreal” .I am sure as this series continues this will become clear.I long ago sliped out of “The Church” as it were and appreciate this lesson. It always seemed strange to me that somehow people would think that Rome would become the center, or authority, for G-d’s plans. How could that be?I agree with Vincent as well ,We are coming out of Babylon…And need to prepare for the rest with open arms and minds.
Blessings to all…

Thanx again for a wonderful teaching, loving the word in spirit and truth is not prevalent in the gentile christian church of this modern era. I personally was recently muted for my beliefs of the remnant of Israel. I told the pastor that the spirit of Elijah was in his church, repent and return to the Torah! He emphatically told me he was not returning to Torah and that he understood his religion thoroughly.I gave him credit for that. Funny thing though a week later his billboard outside the church read: A Prophet Has Been Among Us. I laugh , it was not about me ,yet so fitting.Come out of Babylon, today’s church is the Tower of Babel, no one speaks the same language!Thanx for these timely teachings Tsiyon!

Well done! A lot of information in a concise manner. Especially liked the tracking of Scriptural references to the remnant.
I am speaking with several people new to Hebraic understanding, well, one new to anything Biblical, and am certain that this presentation would be very helpful as they have these same questions: how did the “church” get so far away from our roots if it is really true that we are grafted in?
Thank you!

After long having left the church system, I had ordered a set of DVDs from WorldNetDaily, not really fully understanding what I was getting. It was the Feasts of the Lord series created by the Messianic congregation leader Mark Biltz. My husband and I were just jaw dropped. Scripture after scripture was laid out to connect the dots that Yeshua not only kept the Feasts but also fulfilled many, kept kashrut, and above all emphasized that the Torah was not abolished. The current Hebrew roots movement is leading many of the dismayed believers into the Messianic congregations. Having been led to one myself, and expressing this sense of urgency I keep feeling, our particular congregation (in keeping with its own mission) is implementing corporate prayer every night together at the facility to pray for the salvation of individual Jewish nonbelievers and the specific synagogues in town by name. I don’t know for certain if this is a direct result of my squawking or if it hastened something already in the works, but now having listened to this particular segment that identifies and thoroughly explains YHWH’s covenant with Israel, it is clear that if we do our part, He will do his part, and “in this way, all Israel will be saved.” Just as Eliyahu stated, YHWH doesn’t break His covenants, so, isn’t it really the remnant we should be praying for? In Eliyahu’s vision of the precious stones (another segment) being covered by dirt and foliage, barely able to see them, it is so true that this remnant is hidden. So many true believers have left the church system and have isolated themselves, so many Jewish believers have joined the church system, so many messianic congregations have had internal divisions, one of which is rooted in the erroneous interpretation that only the Jewish members are responsible for keeping Torah and the gentiles are not. Although it appears seemingly impossible, this is the mission that we know will be accomplished. My eternal gratitude goes out to Eliyahu and Dawn who, while they are so humble in their approach, they are so faithful to follow His every lead to carry out a mighty work. Blessings and Shalom, Kim

Is the Church Israel?
The 1st century community of believers (both Jew and Gentile) rightly understood their identity as citizens of the Commonwealth of Israel. However, in today’s post-modern society of Christendom, the “gentile church” is in stark contrast to this reality with over 33,830 denominations (World Christian Encyclopedia, 2001 edition) each with their own separate identities and doctrines of man which were birthed not from the Scriptures but rather from Greco-Roman ideologies. Consequently, each believer must honestly examine this false paradigm and seek the Holy Spirit for an understanding of what the Commonwealth of Israel is and how it functions in order that we would be transformed by the renewing of our minds. Though there are many believers today who are beginning to recognize that they will need to “stand with Israel“, not all realize what this act of faith will cost them personally. This program was a wake-up call to all who are preparing to take this stand. The stronghold of both replacement theology and dispensationalism must be torn down. Ultimately, every believer who says they love Israel will be tested. Needless to say, this will be a time of sifting. There will be those who will cling to the religion of the “gentile church” forgetting the Exodus example that was set for our admonition. When the day of judgment had come upon Egypt, the gentiles (mixed multitude) had to willingly make the choice to come out of Egypt and attach themselves to the nation of Israel in order to be protected with G-d’s chosen people. It was simply not an option to set up a new entity, an “Egyptian congregation”, separate from the Israelites, and expect the promises, blessings and protection of the G-d of Israel. Neither will it be accepted to remain a separate entity “gentile church“ apart from Israel in these last days as the world reaches its prophesied judgment day. The Body of Messiah is now entering a time of great testing and Israel will become the plumb line for all who call themselves believers. To those who overcome, Yeshua will be leading this remnant with the Key of David (Rev.3:7). This ministry is a living example of this and testifies of the faithful bondservants of Tsiyon who are being positioned to carry the menorah to the finish line.
Chained to Messiah,
Summer

02 Is the Church Israel?
Shalom! Many Blessings and Thanks to Tsiyon, Eliyahu and Dawn! It is very apparent that you are anointed by the Ruach HaQodesh!
The years of confusion of what the church truly consists of from a Biblical stand point is now very clear to me. It is also, abundantly clear that I was raised under replacement theology which deeply saddens me as I realize that many of my family and friends have not the eyes to see or the ears to hear the truth. Romans 11, speaks of the spirit of stupor for which I once was afflicted. I am humbled and grateful, yet still feel undeserving, that I can be graphed into the remnant of Israel and share of the New Covenant between Israel and the House of JUDAH. I was not born Jewish or of Israel. However, I now believe that I am an Israelite. I do not believe that YHWH would allow me to come out of the stupor if HE was not going to allow me to be graphed into the olive tree (Remnant of Israel).
Praise be to YHWH for being a covenant making and keeping G-D! The one TRUE G-D! I am grateful for his mercy and grace!
For years I have questioned why we read the Bible, yet do not follow it whole heartedly. It just has never made sense to me that once Yeshua (Jesus) was crucified that nothing he said for us to do or not do, still remained. I just never really believed that following the generally census was the true and right way to go. Although, I admit that during my stupor, my words and actions portrayed that I did at that time. It amazes me how YHWH would choose different times or bits and pieces to enlighten me to question the teachings of the modern church. My questions are most likely why I have been asked to leave a church more than they have sought me out to join them. {O.o} I am truly thankful and grateful for the continued guidance of the Ruach HaQodesh! Thank you, YHWH!
It is abundantly clear that it is imperative that we get back to following the commandments of YHWH and Yeshua! It is time to shed the old self and way of thinking. It is time to relearn the Bible from a Hebraic perspective. It is time to prepare for YESHUA’s return! IT IS TIME!
This explanation just makes plain sense, yet millions are still disillusioned. I am grateful that I am no longer disillusioned as I seek to learn more of the truth.
Still amazed and seeking to learn more.
Shalom!

Good! I have been aware of the Replacement Theology for years, but you brought out even more that I was not aware of. There are many who teach in many “churches” who are just not aware of how this idea came to be.

Yeshua said in John 14:15 “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” Is this part of the old paradigm or is it part of the new paradigm for me. The answer is yes it is new, and no it is not new. Many of us know the 10 words, and if you own a bible, you have read the words in the chapters that come after those words; But with myself, I was never sure what we did with what follows. The church said that we don’t have to worry about those words. But it stays in the back of your head. In my own case, I wanted to have a small group that followed the Sabbaths and the feast for one year. Our minister was encouraging small groups and he said what ever you and a small group of people were interested in, just clear it with him, so I did. I walked out of the priest office feeling like I needed to be forgiven for being so stupid. I wanted to crawl in a hole. The first thing the priest said somewhat accusatory was “Are you thinking of becoming a Sabbatarian?” I said, “no, no!!!! I don’t think so. What’s that?” After that the conversation went down hill fast; However he did say that if I found a book I could bring it in for approval, but I didn’t feel very encouraged. When I left that office I knew I might not be a sabbatarian then, but I figured it was something I should check out myself and keep it to myself at that point of my life. But I begin finding books and reading every thing I could find about that subject and the subject of Feast, and many other subjects that follow the ten words, I could still see well enough at that time to read books. I compared what I was reading with what the bible said, I am now a sabbatarian. I have not gone back and told the priest that I am, but I think he may have guessed by now. This web site has become very important to me because it helped me decide and the things said can be proved in the bible. Opinion is not presented as fact. Tsiyon.org is how I found out about the faithful remnant. Knowing that, answered many questions about things that happened in my life. I was raised in the church, attending and participating in the church, my whole life; and knew nothing of God’s people before BC and the years immediately after.
In Isaiah 9:6-7 tells us that Yeshua was sent to His people Israel and God’s kingdom will be upon his shoulders. This kingdom will be upon David’s throne, it can only be Israel. These are very powerful verses in what they say and what they do not say. It doesn’t say that he will rule over the church with it’s man made rules. These words from Isaiah are reconfirmed in Luke 1:31-33 and again in Yeshua’s own words to his disciples in Luke 22:28-30.
A covenant has been made in Matthew 26:27-28. Yeshua told his disciples after he had taken the cup and given thanks, to drink all of it. “For this is my blood of the new covenant which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” This is the covenant that was prophesied in Jeremiah 31:31-33. In that scripture the Father says that he will make this covenant with the whole house of Israel and he will put his law in our inward parts and write it on our hearts and He will be our God and we will be His people. Those words are so full of comfort, just writing them, give me comfort.
There is no chance of the Father forsaking Israel. In Jeremiah 31:35-37 He said He would only cease the seed of Israel from being a nation, if the ordinances depart from before him The ordinances that He set in place, of the sun that gives a light by day and the moon and stars that give a light by night, which diviedeth the sea when the waves there of roar. The Father says that if heaven above can be measured and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then he will cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done. Paul reminds his fellow believers in Romans 11:1-4 that God will not abandon his people. How Elias felt all alone and feared for his life and the Father comforted him by telling him, he was not alone, that the Father had 7,000 men who had not bowed the knee to baal. I wonder how many women and children there may have been. Sometime we do feel very alone but we are not. Paul, in Romans 11:5 tells us that the Father has set aside a remnant of Israel.
Romans 11:17-18 tells us that you can join Israel. You can be grafted in to the olive tree of Israel. We are there by Gods wonderful Grace. Yeshua’s blood, the blood of the covenant that puts his word in our inward parts and has written his word in our hearts, has enabled us to have a personal relationship with him, how blest we are. The joy is so very great.

What YHWH has been revealing to me is that the mainstream church is so steeped in the traditions and teachings of man they don’t know the truth. In fact most have never qusetioned if what they are being taught is true or false. My own conclusion is that I need to study the original texts and see for myself what it says. It is also my perception that whrn YHWH restored/ renewed the covenant with the house of Jacob he brought us back to the place of relationship that Adam and Hawwah walked in while in the garden That relationship was always meant for all of His children.
I have always seen how in the beginning the promise was to Hawwah that her seed would come to restore after the fall. First there was no Israel, then the righteous line narrowed into Israel. In the end it embraced the gentiles that had decended through the wicked linages of man that were not a part of that righteous lineage and promise. How good is our Father?
We are one in Him….

Shalom my brethren,
May the power of the knowlege of Yeshuah our Messiah lift you and keep you standing! If you are fallen in the way know that He is calling you to arise, to repent, to return to Him and His teachings of truth. If you will return to Him, He will return to you. YHWH will not forsake you.
!This is not an easy road, but it can be walked upon. His burden is light, we can do it. Evil forces want you to think you cant overcome your faults or vices, but i tell you that you can. You can pray, ask, and receive. You can overcome the world through the power of His Spirit and He faithfully rewards them that diligently seek Him. Ask me. i will tell you of the miracles i have seen Him do.
Quit looking in buildings for Him, howbeit He dwelleth not there. He has chosen to reside in a new temple,’one made without hands’. One whose cornerstone is Yeshuah,Messiah, firstborn of many brethren. In His temple His torah is a delight! In His temple, the sabbath is kept holy! In His temple will His bondservants worship as soon as we get the ashen heap of Chritzmoidism swept from the threshing floor. This temple is not one to gaze at in awe, yet. I see stones, living stones, lining up, anxious .
Anyway, stick with Eliyahu and learn the real truth about the kingdom. If you are on the road to Tsiyon i will be seeing you later.
I pray the power and might of YHWH guide and protect all who get on this path.

I have to admit that when I first heard this teaching: that the Church was believing Israel, I was thrown into a fit of depression for a day or so, for I thought this would mean the whole Gentile Church was false and its people unsaved. I wrote Eliyahu on this matter an he graciously replied the next day. Since his answer relieved my concerns, I’m posting the essential part of his explanation here that others too may benefit.
?(¯`´•.¸ ________???_________ ¸.•´´¯)?
?.?.?.?..Faith…?…Hope…?…Love…?.?.?.?
?(_¸.•´´ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯???¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ `´•.¸_)?
“First, on the level of the individual believer, everyone who puts faith in the Son of God and follows Him is “saved” - regardless of what group they may otherwise belong to. That’s because salvation is an individual thing involving a relationship between the individual and God through His Son. That being the case, there is no doubt that millions of Protestants in many denominations are “saved.” Nothing that I am teaching changes that.
The question I am dealing with has to do with believers AS A GROUP.
Today we often call that group “the Church.” But, is the definition that has come to be commonly accepted of “the Church” identical with God’s definition of “the Church?” In other words, is “the Church” a Gentile group separate from Biblical Israel, as is commonly assumed?
The short answer is that “the Church” that we find in the NT is NOT separate, but is in fact identical with believing Israel. It was never intended to be a Gentile group. Gentiles were admitted into believing Israel by being “grafted in” to believing Israel. Upon doing so they became “naturalized” Israelites, so that Israel/the Church retained its Israelite identity and character. It was not founded as a Gentile group nor was it to function according to Gentile ways. This is the NT “True Church” if you will, as experienced and taught by the apostles, including Paul. (See Romans 11)
So how did we go from that reality to re-defining “the Church” as a Gentile group separate from Israel? The short answer is, rebellion. As the numbers of Gentile believers came to outnumber Israelite believers the Gentiles brought in their Greco-Roman ideas with them. In course of time they marginalized and eventually even rejected their Israelite brethren, establishing a new Gentile organization of believers which continued to call itself “the Church.” Only, it wasn’t the Church (believing Israel) that Messiah had inaugurated. That majority Gentile group had rejected the Israelite order and character of the original “Israel/Church” in favor of a new sort of organization expressing Greco-Roman ways and values. In the 4th century this apostate “Church” crystallized into the Roman Catholic Church - a false religion that dominated Gentile Christians for over a thousand years.
The Protestant reformation managed to restore some important truth, but never did return the people of God to the “True Church” - believing Israel - of the NT. Protestant religion has continued teaching the myth of a Gentile Church separate from Israel, not knowing any better. Spiritually speaking, a Gentile Church does not exist, at least in God’s sight, since that structure is not of Him but is of man.
So does that mean that God is not to be found in the churches? As long as real believers are there He will be there with them. That does not mean He approves their separation from Israel as part of the Gentile “Church.” Even now He calls to them, saying “Get out of her, My people!” As more and more believers hear the call they will flee from man-made religion and be grafted into believing Israel, to become one body once again. This is the big item underway on the prophetic time-clock right now.”

*•. .•* I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee?
/.•*•.\ ¸..•¤**¤•.,.•¤**¤•.*.•¤**¤•.¸¸ .•¤**¤•.
With all that said I believe, according to Paul, that Gentile believers have become engrafted into the faith given once and for all to the saints, that one body sometimes called Israel. Paul writes, ” …some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree, (Rom. 11:17).

This concept of Replacement Theology seems to be another unbelievable falsehood in the church.
Although I have been saved for 23 years, and have heard countless sermons on the church replacing Israel, I never was comfortable with that idea. It didn’t make sense. How could God be the same yesterday, today and forever, and then go against what he promised. If God can’t lie then how can He break his promise to Abraham?
As I learn the truth through these past two programs I am amazed at how YHWH has shielded me from the indoctrination with which so many have been decieved. I praise Him for that. Now He is revealing His Truth
to me. This is beginning to make sense now. Not only in my mind but in my heart as well. It is so comforting when you truly know that you’re heading in the right direction, heading home!
Shalom.

As I read through the comments of others, I am seeing a reflection of my own experiences and thoughts on this matter. Ephesians chapter 2 clearly states that before coming into the Messiah we were outside of the covenant of Yisrael, but through His blood sacrafice we are grafted in… I do not remember being taught replacement theology in the few churches I was a part of in so many words, but I have heard of it from others who have. When I read the Bible, I clearly saw that all of Israel will be saved. Anyone who believes and calls upon the name of Yahweh will be saved. In the past I did not know how to reconcile how I could be a part of Yisrael without being Jewish; however, now that I am learning about the two houses, I am confident that I am part of the remnant.
When I began to understand that I am part of Yisrael, I seriously began to look for the ways that I could live like Yisrael. Keeping shabbat, moed, etc…
Thank you for answering the call to reach out to those who are open and willing to break from the tradiiton of men…

Hello !
I just read ‘Is the Church Israel’ for the 2nd time. I wanted to read all of it again but one particular part made me cry the other day. Again, today, it touched me very deeply. WOW! I wish I could describe how it makes me feel and the chills I get when I read it over and over…
…..I would like to say, really, that this program is for them. This program is for the remnant of Israel. I think that many of them feel like Elijah felt.
DAWN: (you mean) All alone?
ELIYAHU: Yes. They feel all alone. They are different. The remnant of Israel is different. If any one is of the remnant of Israel, they feel that. They might not even know why.
DAWN: They might not know why.
ELIYAHU: Yes, but they feel all alone and they feel like they know God in a different way than other people do. It is not a prideful thing, but it is just different. We want to be an encouragement to them–to the remnant of Israel. So we hope that they will hear our message. That they will know that we care about them, that God cares about them, and that it is time, it is time for us to draw together. We do not have to be all alone. All of us
who are of the remnant of Israel–we do not have to feel alone like Elijah did because we can draw together. We can come together and the Scriptures tell us that this is what we should expect. This is what happened in the 1st century–that the remnant of Israel is what we call the “early Church”. There is no difference. They were functioning as the
nation of God. They were not all alone anymore
Thank you Dawn and Eliyahu ! {tearful hugs}

I’ve known for sometime the importance of keeping Yeshua’s commands. I also learned through my walk to always weigh a teaching or doctrine with the entire word of God. I never really believed in the whole timeline dispinsational teachings. Most believers I encounter with a few exceptions believe the false teaching that God will deal with Israel after the so called Rapture. After listening to this program I now understand it so much clearer. The influence the history, schooling ,and preaching of this false doctrine is pervasive. Couple this with the fact most American Christians don’t read much less study thier bible and one can conclude the origin of our current apostacy. This teaching has blessed me much. I look foward to telling my friends about it. Also the end of the program affected me personally(the part about feeling different ,alone, etc) I am pleased to be able to fellowship with like minded and similar goal oriented people. This is very thoughtful of the creators and most important the Creator of this community.

Wow! I love this program. I have listened to a number of programs before and this one more than once, so if I repeat something which you’ve already taught, just consider it evidence of your good teaching presentations.
I like the fact that even the King James Bible lets slip the fact that it was Moses in the “church” in the wilderness at Mt. Sinai (Acts 7:38). The one and only congregation of the people of YHWH! I especially liked the good news that whether we find that we are natural branches or grafted in, eitherway we are Israel, if we trust in Messiah Yeshua sent from the Father.
Also it seems to me that at least one of the problems in the primarily Gentile churches is one of pride. And this program exposes where this pride is coming from. It is due to a lack of humility in regards to the place Israel holds in YHWH’s heart. And as you showed in this program, that is because this teaching is largely ignored by the pastors. Or else Israel is presented as you said, as an entirely separate entity from the believers today. No wonder there is confusion.
As for false teachings, I had learned that Israel is the Father’s wife, from whom He is currently divorced. And that the church is Yeshua’s bride. hope future programs will address this. I am beginning to grasp that there is only one body of believers and that it doesn’t matter whether they lived before or after the coming of the Messiah.
I have also heard that the Sermon on the Mount is not for Christians, but for Israel. Now that just seems ridiculous.
Thank you Eliyahu and Dawn, for your love of the truth and the Truth. Thank you for sharing the beautiful music of Jonathan David Brown as well; his music and Tsiyon are a perfect match!
Blessings and Shalom to the blessed remnant!

Just for fun, my wife and I listened to this lesson again, and I kid you not; I checked my blood pressure BEFORE the program and it was great. But during the program I say to my wife, “She’s movin up the chart BABY!!!!” I almost had to pull out my “JERRY SPRINGER MICROPHONE” to BLEEP out what I REALLY wanted to say about this “REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY HORSE CRAP.” As a Jew, I am appalled at this nonsense!! I got a family member who went to a Bible Cemetary, and let me tell ya; he is MESSED UP JACK!!! What makes it worse is the fact that he’s a JEW!!! I love em, but he aint got a lick of bible sense any where in his body. Unfortunately, most of my family members belong to a “christian” church, and they have become GENTILED!!! They have lost they’re identity as JEWS, and have bought in to the “GREAT WHORE” of LIES. Im not givin up. Whenever we all get together, I share the things that Ive learned from Eliyahu, and I try to “persuade” them to the TRUTH. Shalom

I just got done listening to this study, and I hit me like a ton a bricks I knew it was more to this church thing than what I was being taught. But I felt if I said anything I would be going against the majority or even against the Pastor himself. I been we are the church never that it was Israel whom God has chosen. I thought to myself how can this be because God made a covenant with Abraham whom a great promise was thru. And Jesus Christ his son I didn’t think God has ever really turned his back on his chosen people. I wish I could find out if I am one the remnants all I know is that I longed to really know my father and his son the true one and not the one who support self worth and blessing to be pour out over me and my family but use me to show his love and true compassion for the lost.

Boy that was a lot to have to stomach all over again. Knowing what I have come out of and having to hear it from Eliyahu sure made my eyes open wider.
I thank YAHWEH for showing me a lot of things that are now being confirmed and taught through a true Prophet of His.
I wonder how hard it would have been for me to come to the truth if YAHWEH had not revealed them to me. Probably as hard as it is to try to share with those that don’t seek for it.
“Seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you.”
It is those that do not search for truth that never receive it and sometimes even when guided to the light they refuse it because of their unwillingness.
Unwillingness to accept truth will stop any person from ever seeking it. What a shame to have such a heart, a Cold Dead Heart!
There are some within my family that refuse to even click on the link to receive it and that my friends rips at my soul because they have became a stiffnecked people.
The reason we receive what we receive is first and foremost the Grace of YAHWEH upon us. We are rewarded for our diligent search with treasures of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding, more valuable then gold or silver or any precious stones.
We, the Remnant of YAHWEH will be bringing forth the truth again to a dying world and to an entity calling themselves christians that never were who it claimed to be and the Harvest will be according to the wisdom and foreknowledge of Him that has kept us for this moment unto Himself and all to the Glory of YAHWEH.
Everyone, keep pushing forward with the mission of gathering together His Remnant. We are united for the first time in a long time to accomplish that which is destined to happen.
Its a great task and will take great men to do the will of YAHWEH. We are not, and do not want weaklings that will compromise the Word of Almighty YAHWEH.
If you are in agreement with us then pull out the seat your sitting on and learn to STAND FOR YAHWEH.
Its time to gather and walk like a New Man which no christian denomination has ever seen. Its time to show the world who the Covenant People truly are.
I will bless those that bless thee, and I will curse those that curse thee, says YAHWEH.

This teaching flows naturally from the first concerning the paradigm shift and fills in the most of the missing parts to make the shift.
I have never had teaching from the church pulpit in any of these areas and it’s easy to see why. Scripturally and historically the church’s position is indefensible. What church pastor or preacher can stick to the truth and remain in his current position? We are back to Yahushua’s time when the Israelite leaders refused to give up their traditions and standing in society.
Even those who strongly reject replacement theology are blinded to the fact the Christian church is the replacement!
One thing explained to me for the first time is the reason why the church in the West concentrates on Paul’s letters in their preaching and teaching to the exclusion of the commandments in the Gospels. It’s difficult to believe that anyone would enter into any battle without the blood covenant of Yahushua.
Sadly, I’ve lacked the ammunition in the past to tackle these arguments, but my arsenal is being enlarged. Thank you Eliyahu and Dawn.

I have to say that I, myself, was raised to believe that this “replacement theology” was true. It wasn’t until I was much older and discovered that certain books had been removed from today’s Bibles, that I started studying early Christianity. Originally, I wanted to know “why” certain books had been removed from the Bible, “when”, and “by whom” because as I saw it, NOBODY had the authority or right to remove ANYTHING from the Bible. This started many years of study into early Christianity, specifically that very first generation of Christians, to find out what “they” believed and were taught by Yeshua and the apostles themselves. The more I studied, the more horrified and utterly shocked I became to find that so MANY things had been CHANGED by MAN to fit their own individual ideas and beliefs. Things such as forsaking God’s given feast days and the Sabbath days . . . to be replaced by (horror of horrors) PAGAN feast days and rituals. The very things YHWH Himself TOLD us to stay AWAY from! From what I can tell from my own idividuals studies, satan could not stop Christianity by killing or torturing people, so he did something much sneakier and smarter. He married the Church! Or should I say, the Church married him, forsaking Yeshua and God’s Word for the world! Many people of the reformation movement and before recognized this fact, along with the fact that the “church” (meaning the Roman Catholic Church as they were the first, as far as I can tell to date, to organize into a state religion), was now deeply steeped in pagan practices. Hence, the reformation. Only “they” turned around and did the very same things themselves, only under a different mask!
So today, when I hear people say that the Church REPLACED Israel, I have to correct them; because, in reality, what they’re really doing is calling God a liar, and all the promises He made to Israel in the Bible - lies. This, to me, is them making a God of their own imagination, which is therefore a false idol because it certainly isn’t YHWH, the God of the Bible that they’re talking about when they say things like this. And the worst part about it, is that most people will never take the time to learn the truth on their own, so therefore, will continue to believe the lies. I know I spent many years myself just taking for granted that what the priests or pastors were teaching were Biblical. Boy, was I wrong! This is an issue that truly upsets me; not only because “I” was lied to in this way growing up, but because there are so many others out there who still really have NO IDEA. In many ways, I feel that the Christian Church has betrayed me and everyone else they teach these falsehoods to; and, most importantly, they’ve betrayed Yeshua Himself. It’s really come down to what Yeshua told us would happen in the last days though too. Apostasy IS running rampant, false teachers ARE coming in sheep’s clothing ALL OVER THE PLACE “calling themselves Christians”! Just like the Bible forewarned us in 2nd Timothy 3:1-8:
2nd Timothy 3:1-8: You must understand this, that in the last days distressing times will come. For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, brutes, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to the outward form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid them!
For among them are those who make their way into households and captivate silly women, overwhelmed by their sins and swayed by all kinds of desires, who are always being instructed and can never arrive at a knowledge of the truth. As Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these people, of corrupt mind and counterfeit faith, also oppose the truth.
Never have I so completely understood this verse as I do today as I’ve watched it happen before our very eyes. It’s so bad today, that many true Christians like myself, CAN’T EVEN FIND a true “Christian” church to fellowship at anymore. I know, because I’ve met many people online in the very same delima as I am with not being able to find a true fellowship of believers where they live. We now find ourselves having to meet with the Body of Christ online instead of being able to asemble together as believers. This is so very sad.
I can only thank YHWH every single day for His kindness and mercy in showing me HIS TRUTH through my own studies of the Bible and bringing me to some wonderful online ministry sites who are actually “teaching His Truth” such as this one. And unfortunately, this ENTIRE message today, is so very sadly true. I believe it’s now each of our duty in life to share these messages and these truths with others, including the many church’s who have fallen into the lie of this world. If we don’t share it, how will others come to the knowlege of YHWH’s Biblical Truth? How will they ever know what Yeshua REALLY taught us? Each and every one of us “needs” to be sharing what we’re learning with everyone we know because I truly believe that Yeshua is preparing all His children for His immenent return. While I eagerly wait for that day to come soon, I also pray that YHWH will use my life to reach others who have been lied to all their lives like I was. Because ultimately, the TRUTH can only do one thing…”Set Us Free”!

These are just a few of my thoughts as I was listening to the program – “Is the Church Israel?”
I find it interesting how ‘wild olive branches’ try to grow and flourish without being grafted into the tree. They may shoot for a little while but soon wither and die as they are not receiving any nourishment from the olive tree. There have been many revivals in the church but they haven’t lasted because they have not been based on the Torah and the root which is the house of Israel.
The church has so separated itself from Israel that it has its own festivals and rest days. It does not celebrate the Feasts of Adonai and mostly forgets about the Sabbath, even when it is part of the 10 commandments. (The church must only have to keep 9 not 10 commandments!?)
The church teaches that we need to be like Jesus but hey Jesus (Yeshua) was a Jew and he kept Torah and the Feasts including the weekly Sabbath.
I find the church is full of contradictions. They say the Bible is true but I think what they actually mean is that their interpretations of the Bible is true and is to be followed. There is so much that we need to ‘unlearn’ as most of us have been so thoroughly ‘churched’.
It is so strange that so many are leaving the church to search for truth and find God.
Comment by Ginny on June 7, 2011 at 7:53 am
Spot on! “it has its own festivals”… hmmm. Sounds a bit like “changing the times and seasons” to me! Daniel 7:25 He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time.
I believe the church is the fourth beast, as a part of the Babylonian world system. Terrible thought…

For several years I was deceived by the lie that the Church and Israel are 2 entirely separate groups. It grieves me that I should have been taken in by this, but more importantly, it grieves me when I think of the pain such a lie must cause YHWH. So many millions of people swept along by the lies of replacement and separation theology…
Praise YHWH for keeping His covenants and for revealing the truth to us! Since I first listened to this lesson, I have been amazed at how much sense many things in the Bible now make to me. Paul’s teachings are much easier to understand and Ephesians 2, which always confused me, is now crystal clear.
Yeshua said, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matthew 15:24) and, “I have other sheep, which are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will hear My voice; and they will become one flock with one shepherd.” John 10:16. HIS words are simple to understand, once you know the truth. There is only one flock, although others are welcome to join and become a part of that flock.
Thank you for another great lesson Eliyahu and Dawn. Your passion for this subject was clear and I am sure it reflects the passion our Lord has for His people Israel. How dare men try to replace YHWH’s chosen people. How arrogant people are. I pray more people hear the truth, study for themselves and repent that they were ever taken in by such a terrible lie.

Praise YHWH and all glory to Him!! How can we ever understand the Power and Might that He has in keeping a remnant that don’t necessarily know they are a remnant! That was me, I have felt ‘weird’ and ’strange’ for a long time. Why do I love, love, love to study and talk about the Lord so much? Why doesn’t ANYONE else I know around me feel like that?! (Except DawnP). I’m one of the remnant!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the Lord with all my heart, I have no interest in the church, I just want HIM, to follow HIM, to know HIM, to love HIM. Thank you so much Eliyahu and Dawn for encouraging me and telling the truth which the Lord has long been preparing in my heart. Even so, come Lord Yeshua! I pray He will continue to wake His people up, keep them safe and bring them together. Amen.

Adonai is immutable/unchanging. He is faithful to His covenants with His people Israel.
It is mind boggling to think how far we (the church) have strayed from the truth.
I know that God has given me this fresh mindset to dig deeper into the root of my faith. Thank you God and thank you Tsiyon. Nothing happens in the lives of believers by chance. Scripture has come to life for me like never before and I pray that He will continue to teach me His plan and ways.
I am a member of a southern baptist church/ “assembly”, and when I try to talk to other members about the true church being Israel or about the jewishness of our faith, they just look at me like I have 3 heads. Theres really no response from anyone other than confusion. Its as if they are fine where they are and why change anything or consider anything else.
Get out of the Box and Get Yahweh out of the box!
Maybe one day I can be in a congregation of folks who love the remnant.
I dont know if I’m a part of the scattered remnant, but when Eliyahu said, that ” they” dont know who they are and that they just feel different………..well thats how I’ve felt all my life. Not better, not worse, not above anyone…………just different, like there was someone bigger over me who had me in their care, watching over me. Makes me wonder.
Gods ways are above our ways, and we just need to trust Him and seek His truth.
Praise God for His remnant and that He’s always had one and I pray for them always.
God Bless Tsiyon

What a great and patient explanation of many things that have changed over the centuries. So many of us were lost in anti-Semetic and false teachings. I noticed that so many responses on here have stated that didn’t seem to fit or were different. I believe since this happened to me also that this is a call to you to come out from among them. Truely God is great to love us so much and want us out from paganist rituals and falsehoods. After all He is Truth! Bless the Lord God forever and bless all those truthseekers.

Hello all,
How very disgusting that these gentiles believe they are more entitled to the kingdom of Yah more than his own chosen people. This theology is just plain stupid. What changed with Yahweh between the old and new testament? How does Israel go from being the chosen people to suddenly being forsaken by Yahweh. Its like they just pulled this out of the air. Although I’m sure the devil had plenty of involvement. I found it very interesting how Eliyahu showed how the translators changed up the wording to fit there needs. I do believe the scriptures have some very strong words in regards to adding or taking away from his Holy Word. Those people are in very big trouble. On top of that what about these modern day preachers who have just as much ability to see this falicy yet do nothing about it. That’s just as bad. Yahwehs not a happy camper with people saying that his Israel is replaced by the now dead church. I’m not saying that gentiles are bad but they need to realize that this all started with the Jews and its gonna end with them. There free to come with us grafted in. Just don’t push us Jews to the curb. So with that have a nice day.
Comment by Lin on December 20, 2011 at 9:21 pm
It was just last spring when YHVH gave me this revelation that the sentence against Israel was fulfilled and that I, little ol’ me of gentile decent, was in fact Israel. I jumped for joy literally and so much made sense right then. Hallelujah and hallelujah again. If we want the Truth all we need to do is ask!! Our Father is faithful and just, also he wants us to know who we are, so if we ask, well, we know he’ll answer.
Just the last few days I was curious why in some accounts YHVH uses House of Jacob instead of Israel, so I asked. Jacob’s name was changed on his way back to meet Esau, his children were still young and most likely still under his counsel. The brothers were still a family unit under their father Jacob. This also implies before these children sinned. Wow, YHVH is good to us. Ask and He will answer.

Truly a foundational teaching. Just who is Israel? Just who is the Church? Both are one and the same - the Ekklesia, the Body of “called-out” ones. These have always been the Israel/the Church of God.
God has not discarded His people and replaced them by another. This false teaching was one of the manifestations of the apostasy which was already starting at the time of the Apostles.
Comment by Jaro on March 19, 2012 at 3:17 pm
This is the first time I have heard a clear explanation about the difference between the gentile church and Israel.
I don’t have any doctrinal or theological background but it is very clear the harm and deception the traditional and modern replacment theology have produced since the first church. Thank you Eliyahu!
I want to admit and repent for my ignorance to YHWH’s Will & Way & Thinking and humbly pray that He will guide me to help Him build His Nation in these Last days.
Shalom in Yahshua
