Thank you for dealing with the soul. I have read in the scriptures about us being spirit, soul, and body. Many teach that the soul is the mind, will, and emotions. I appreciate your straight forward way of filling us in on the cost of being Yahshua’s disciples.
I am not sure how anyone can miss this if they read the scriptures; but, I guess it is a little like people who avoid thinking about death at all.
I would encourage believers to actually spend time in Messiah’s presence. Let Him prune you of the fleshly things of the flesh nature so that you will be ready and able to endure. It is going to take His strength to withstand the onslaught of persecution in order to maintain our testimony of Him in it. I am not just talking about the Great Tribulation; I am talking about life. I can say this because I have experienced success and failure; and, I know that it will be Him working through us, that will give us the ability to withstand and to stand for His Name.

IM TOTALLY EXCITED TRIBESMEN!!! Eliyahu NAILED IT when he was talking about speaking your testimony, and the fact that the word testimony means “EVIDENCE”. I say this with absolute PURE JOY, I am guilty as charged because of the evidence that I speak of my Yeshua!! As I said in prior posts, when I testify to muslims, buddhists, hindus, mormons, etc, I tell these guys right to they’re face that allah is a devil, he’s a liar, and he is full of crap. You wanna talk about the air being sucked out of the room, I tell ya its a HUGE SPIRITUAL RUSH!!! I BLAST them with aFULL BARRELL of the TRUTH, and I never apologize. The christians start runnin when I start testifying, cause they dont have the spiritual “kahoonies” to take the heat. Ive been confronted by several muslims when I was all by myself, and I would stand there and BOLDLY SPEAK the word, and they were ready to beat the living crap out of me, but guess what; YAHWEH was there and He protected me. Understand something, IM not lookin to be popular, Im lookin for anyone who will face up to the true word of God. I even get persecuted by the “PEW WARMING SPINELESS CHICKEN CHRISTIANS.” Man oh man people, you gotta be tough. I keep sayin it over and over, this is WAR!! Jump on your execution stake, DIE to YOUR SELF, and get excited when you get persecuted. Ive experienced people who threatened to kill me right on the spot, if I didnt shut my mouth. All you do is keep on preachin it, NO MATTER WHAT!!! There are Pastors in this town that will NEVER, EVER, consider hittin the streets with me. Number one, they scared, number two, they lazy, number three, they are out to save they’re own butts, and number four, they simply DONT CARE!!!! So I just say to the Lord, “come on Lord, lets go hit the strip (las vegas) and go fishin for some souls.” GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST!!!! It is a BLAST and a half, to serve Yeshua!!! He is soooooo RIDE ON!!! Let me leave you with this thought. The Bible says if your a friend of the world, you aint no friend of God. It also says, If your not FOR ME, then your AGAINST ME!!! Yeshua is gonna be inspecting the fruit from your tree BOY!!! So guess what!! Dont fear a man who can only take your body, but fear the one who will take your body and soul!!! I hope that the evidence of your testimony for Yeshua is stacked HIGH, and that you will not be afraid, or ashamed of the gospel of Yeshua. After all, if you truly follow Him, He’s your husband. Aren’t youu proud to tell people about your Husband? SHALOM!!!!!

OK. This program struck a nerve. I am like the Jews at Pentecost after they heard Peter speak about how the Holy Spirit would be poured out, the scripture said that they were cut to the heart. I have been cut to the heart.
The part of this program that I can’t get away from is about being persecuted for my faith and is there evidence of my testimony about Yeshua. Does my testimony have any weight? Is there evidence enough to convict me of being a believer in Messiah? If my faith is measured by my being persecuted for my witness to others (and the scripture is clear about this) the evidence, I’m afraid, is scarce. Again, is there evidence enough? The fact the I even had the question come into my head, and that I took more than three seconds to answer it, that is my answer.
If I’m serious about this, and I am, it’s time to get back into the fight. It’s long past time!
Thanks Eliyahu for speaking the truth and not being afraid that it might offend.
Thanks Crigger for being who you are and not being afraid to express yourself. You are an encouragement to me.
Shalom,
Don

I think this program struck a nerve in everyone Don! Like Eliyahu reminded us, our Messiah looked past the suffering, the persecution and the cross and He counted it all JOY! He knew what the end reward would be. Redemption!!
Restoration!!! We just have to trust. If He says we will be blessed when we suffer persecution then we will be. We are suppose to count it all Joy when we are persecuted. He told us it would happen and He told us we would be blessed. So we have to trust His promises for He has never failed us. Its a hard thing for us to do in our flesh, so we have to crucify the flesh daily. Help us Yahweh for we can’t do it on our own.
Thank you for giving me a new perspective on the body, soul and spirit. I didnt think about some being dominated by their soul, but everyday we are dominated by our feelings, our emotions, our desires. Makes me remember that being born of the spirit, means to “walk in the spirit” in everyway. In your thoughts, your deeds, your words, everything. Its a spirit walk! We need Him to help us for we can’t do it on our own. Help us until the hope of our resurection in You is accomplished.
Theres a beautiful song that I’ve been listening to and I dont know who sings it, but its very fitting for Yahweh’s remnant!
Lord Hear our cry
Come heal our land
Breathe Life into these dry and thirsty souls
Lord hear our prayer
Forgive our sins
As we call on your name, would you make this place for your Glory to dwell.
Open the blind eyes
Unlock the deaf ears
Come to your people, as we draw near
Hear us from Heaven
Touch our generation
We are your people
Crying out in desperation
Praises to the One who is Worthy!
Shalom
Becca

This program has informed me of what this portion of scripture is truly about.
I do believe the events coming will cause true believers to cry unto the Father How long? But very sadly many who proclaim Messiah’s name will cave and give in to the system and will not be willing to be persecuted. It is sad many believe they will be zapped out before the trouble comes and when they don’t get rescued like they thought they would become offended and renounce Messiah and betray their former brothers. It’s also sad people haven’t been taught these things in church and so they are not prepared.
There are some basic things I don’t quite grasp about the soul in which I’m awaiting an answer from the ministry, hopefully when this comes I will have clarity on this because it is very important.

There is another way to “compromise” your testimony. It is not just about not giving it to Jewish people (I don’t like saying “the Jews” - seems demeaning and since I am one….well) but comprising to the point of going to church on “sun” day and eating unkosher foods in front of them and letting them get by with easter and christmas without exposing them to the biblical truth. This is all comprise and not “walking and talking our testimony…”
christianity and judaism are man-made doctrine but the christianity in and of itself is pagan and breaks the first 4 commandments. Both are offensive to Yahweh. I believe more of us are exposed to christians and not talking to them truthfully because we are concerned about friendship and/or not being able to be different in front of them. Families, close friends, etc. Just believing in Yahshua doesn’t negate the pagan practices.
