Truths of Yahweh are truths forever,
His Word is true for all mankind!
So when He says “count the soldiers”;
censors gather, it’s half shekel time.
Split the shekel, so it seems,
covers His eyes to be redeemed.
Censor takers get this right,
count the men ready to fight.
Pay the price, avoid the pain,
David felt the angst of shame.
Forgot the offering each man pays,
the Lord let him choose the punishment phase!
End time prophecy does advance,
take to heart this numbering chance.
Redeem the men ready to fight,
a half shekel a man, the price is right!

What a great & amazing program. I learned a whole new aspect & teaching that I hadn’t heard taught before. I didn’t know what a Holy half shekel was until now. Thank U E for another great program.

Love the part on the ‘working out our redemption’, and the response of the
redeemed on their part which is the other half of the silver shekel!
That part is SO misunderstood by believers who trust in “it’s all by grace” and “not in works”, whereas James wrote- if you have faith, show me your works, and by works is faith made perfect.

We have to honour the other half of the bargain/covenant to seek covering from ABBA as a truly crossed-over, Hebrew, returning to YHWH’s Word/Torah to keep all HIS Feasts, shabbat appointments, commandments/law, clean and unclean food, that ABBA may bring forth/complete restoration in the various areas of our lives where it’s needed.

Thank You Yahshua for the ransom You paid to redeem us.
How great are YOUR mercies as YOU long for Your people, Yisrael to return and be gathered back to YOU!

I recall reading this account of David and the census many years ago. At the time, I did not understand the significance of the all that transpired. I appreciate the teaching and the increase of understanding I have gained through it. Blessings.

Listening to these programs about silver and the Shekel and now this Holy Half Shekel, reminds me of just how far we have “evolved” and “progressed” away from YHWH. These concepts are so foreign to the western mindset. Suggesting that a person needs to be redeemed by money in some ways of thinking is akin to slavery, which in American thought this is taboo. But you know what, I want to be His slave and His bondservant. Didn’t He pay a Great Price for me and for you? YHWH was so right when He said, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” Isaiah 55:8.
I am so excited about learning the ways and the heart and mind of my Father, and shedding that which I learned from the world.
I carry my Kingdom Shekel wherever I go so that when it’s time to go to the land I will be ready to be counted among the men of Israel.
Praise always to the Name that is above all others, Y’shua Messiah, our King who is over all kings and nations and peoples. May we glorify Him in all that we do so that the Father is glorified as well.
