The Name, Immanuel, is part of a key Messianic prophecy from the book of Isaiah, fulfilled in the book of Matthew. Now, the Dead Sea Scrolls shed new light on the use of this amazing name in Scripture. Also discussed are the virgin birth and the story behind the prophecy in Isaiah 7. |

I have studied the Scriptures in Isaiah and Matthew before and have never connected the House of David to these Scriptures. This is quite revealing. It demonstrates the covenant being kept by YHWH with the House of David before the destruction of of Solomon’s Temple as well as shortly before the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem. It is also interesting to me that many times when YHWH says He will give a sign, the sign cannot be seen necessarily by the generation that is alive in that day when the sign is spoken, but can be seen by generations that follow. This confirms that Yah is in control of the world in which we live, not man. Thank you Eliyahu for this wonderful teaching.

Great program. I am glad U explained how it was understood by men- that the sign was of a virgin birth several years before Messiah’s birth, & not of just a young woman. I am glad U explained how it was also translated into greek from the Hebrew text that Ha-alma means the virgin. Some men later wanted to disapprove Matt 1:23, 23″(S)BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH (T)CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL,” which translated means, “(U)GOD WITH US.” that Messiah wasn’t born of a virgin and translated it to>( a young woman) who gave birth to a son & called Him Immanuel(God with us), so to approve that this virgin birth didn’t take place, b/c they didn’t want to put their trust in Yeshua as the Messiah. and didn’t want to hold true that, the Word became flesh to live among us, which is a dispute today about Messiah being born of a virgin birth or not. Thank U for explaining all of this by laying out the translations.
It is very clear that Yeshua our Messiah was born of a virgin birth. I am glad U explained this. Thank U for also pointing out, that this sign was given to the house of David b/c Yahweh demonstrated that He upholds His covenant with the house of David.
I don’t hear much teaching anywhere about Joseph, that is mentioned in the book of Matthew, being a family head of the house of David and was an immediate obedient faithful son of David to Yahweh. (That he obeyed Yahweh immediately). Today, it is as Joseph wasn’t important or had an important role. (but he did have a important role-& he did well by it). This doesn’t seem acknowledged in today’s teachings.
Thank U Eliyahu for your obedience of studying, learning of the Scriptures, and carrying out these messages to the public’s attention. Thank U for your relationship with Yahweh and His Son Yeshua our Messiah. Thank U, that U love the truth and want to share it with us.
I really enjoyed this program.

Another great program with history and scripture explained to give us another facet of the big picture.
One thing that struck me when E was recounting the words of YHWH, through Isaiah, to Ahaz the King of Judah. When the northern Kingdom of Israel and Assyria were conspiring to overthrow Ahaz and Judah, YHWH tells Ahaz that Israel (the norhtern kingdom) will not be in existence in 65 years. Isn’t it funny (interesting) that the very country Israel entered into the unholy alliance with became the country that took them into captivity. Huh!! Imagine that.
What is the moral of this story? Don’t touch or even think about touching the faithful children of YHWH. It doesn’t matter if you are genetically related to His people, if you are rebelling against Him, you have already lost. He will not be mocked nor will He be thwarted. His Word and His will are rock solid.
This was just a side note to the main theme of the program which is the foretelling, by Isaiah, of the name “Immanuel” as the Name of Messiah some 700 years before His birth.
Again YHWH had to “store” an accurate rendering of His word (the Dead Sea Scrolls) in a cave for centuries so that at the right time, they could be “discovered”, and we (well, not me, but people who know what they’re doing) could decipher the truth about the Name of His Son, our Messiah, Immanuel, .
Funny how far Satan will go to continue to try and foul things up, but YHWH is always ahead of him.
Shalom,
Don

GREETINGS MY TRIBAL FAMILY!!!
WOW, what a great program. You did a remarkable job connecting the dot from Isaiah to Matthew concerning the “sign” of the virgin birth.
Joseph exercised his trust in Yahweh by “OBEYING” everything that Yahweh told him to do. Often times we second guess what Yahweh commands us to do, and it has devastating consequences. NOT GOOD!!! Shalom, Crigger

Thanks for another really scriptural programme! I have heard before that people refute that the word means Virgin and say it means maiden. I had always dismissed that by saying that 2,000 a young maiden would have been a virgin… they didn’t go in for sex before marriage like we do today. You have given me an even stronger arguement, thank you! It was good to be reminded again of Joseph’s righteousness and true position in the family of David. I hate the way churchianity has completely disregarded him as not being important!
