Messiah’s Birthday #38
Posted by TsiyonOct 1
The day of Christ’s birth is not on Christmas. Tsiyon listeners have been asking questions about Christ’s birthday, not the least of which is “when was Messiah born?” We will be answering many of these questions as we focus on the timing of Yeshua’s birth. As many Messianics do, we believe Messiah was born at the feastival of Tabernacles, which is coming right up! On this program we will explain to you in detail how we know the day Yeshua was born as well as how He fulfilled festivals of Israel in His conception and birth. Tabernacles is a season of great joy. For a long time, I have believed Messiah’s birthday was around or on Sukkot. It makes a lot of sense too. Thank U for this program. I had enjoyed listening to it.

I thank you for the details about Yeshua’s birthday. I have done some studies on this in the past, but never was able to put it together the way you have. Thank you for the simple explainations - they all make sense.

One other quick comment - I really liked the supporting Scriptual information that Yeshua was born during Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) from John 1:14 where it says “The Word became flesh, and lived (Tabernacled) among us.” This Scripture when taken from the Hebraic perspective was literally fulfilled through Yeshua’s birth during Sukkot or the Feast of Tabernacles! I am always amazed at how literal the Scriptures can be if taken from the right perspective. Thanks again!

I was able to do this show twice this week.I was there in my path and it was replayed for Sukkot week.I have had fun sharing how the verses in Luke put a swift end to this Issue.I have been impressed with some that have correctly identified the Seventh Month. But tickled with the correlation they make to the Gregorian Calendar thus saying July.Having read “Holy Time” I can understand the mistake.I do look at Biblical Month’s differently now.
But there is also a strong point made about the importance of Modern Christians need to read Torah and the rest of the Old Testement for that matter.Without this piece from David out of 1Chronicles 24, it would be hard to figure the Month correctly. So this will always be a special time as we get to Sukkot.Happy Birthday Yeshua!
Blessings to all

What a blessing this teaching was this year for me and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Although, I actually listened to it the first time months ago, I took the opportunity to take a copy of the teaching to a bible study group to listen to in THE SUKKAH we had BUILT ourselves…..7 women who are on this amazing journey together. Truly a two house group coming together…not sure they all know that yet….(smile,) but it is definitely comprised of those from the House of Judah and those from whom I believe the House of Israel. And, the amazing thing was that we listened to it on the BIBLICAL day of the FIRST DAY of the Feast of Tabernacles, OUR MESSIAH’S BIRTHDAY…..I brought a coffee cake and wrote on it in red…Happy Birthday Yahshua! I so felt the presence of The Spirit with us as we were gathered together at HIS APPOINTED TIME, to celebrate HIS BIRTHDAY!!!! As usual, the lesson was scripturally based and the questions asked by Dawn, were what the group was asking……I think it would have touched your heart to see all of these women (with mittens and coats) gathered around a table in a beautiful Sukkah with flowing white panels listening to your teaching.

Invitation to a party, it is The Messiah’s birthday,
listening to the scripture, can be no other way!
Priest of the 8th division, Zacharias starts the facts;
Elizabeth and Mary, their unborn infants make a pact!
All the details, which are written, yet hidden in the words,
will people only listen, or believe the lies they’ve heard?
So amazing is the truth, never heard it said this way,
Gospel of great joy, given on His day!
All the pieces fit, so neatly in His Feasts,
has to be the work of God, scripture is so neat!
Feast of Dedication, Passover and Feast of Booths,
learn the Feasts of Israel, tabernacle in the truth!

I remember the day when I first met a family who did not celebrate “Christmas” as Yahshuah’s birthday… This was back in the 80’s. I do not remember their reasoning behind this for it was a long time ago; but, I can say that it started me on the road to Tsiyon. From that time forward, I began to search out how to reconcile my life to what was written in the Tanach/Torah (old testament). The journey was long and painful.
A lot of twists and turns. A lot of rejection by the church leaders I asked questions of. Rejection by Messianic leaders too. If it had not been for Yahshua, I would have died…
I am glad that Yahweh has raised up leaders who are after His heart. They shine the light on some of the more obscure passages that can be understood only with an hebraic mindset.
The Lion of the Tribe of Judah! He is faithful to keep covenant.
I have tried to share this information with some of my friends and family. I have tried to encourage them to search these things out for themselves. When I shared the information about Christmas not being a holiday that anyone who belongs to Yahsuah should observe, my family asked my mother to ask me not to send any information like this to them again. I pray for them all. They are still in bondage to the belief sytem of church.
No man can come to the Father except through Yeshua, and unless they are willing to break free of the false traditions of man, they will miss out on the depth and richness of belonging to Him.
The information on this program helps to correct both the church and the rabbinical doctrine’s timelines. Yahweh give us eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to comprehend. Guide all those who truly seek your Way to programs like these.
I have heard this “miracle” of oil is a myth. That the reason that Hanakuah was done for 8 days was to give those warriors who were fighting against the greeks, who were defiled by dead bodies and could not celebrate sukkot. Therefore the Feast of Dedication of the temple was for 8 days to give them an opportunity to “participate” in this rememberance. I am not sure.
Yahshua came to tabernacle with us, so Him being born on the first day of sukkot seems reasonable. I have also heard that there would be no shepherds in the field during the ninth month because it was winter. So the angel would not have gone to shepherds in the field to proclaim the Messiah’s birth… There are some common sense things, if we truly sought out the answers, that would indicate the falseness of some of the traditional church doctrine.
Deliver us Yahweh from the traditions of men. Remove every false way as You have promised in Your Word. Thank You.
Tabernacles fits more in line with the pattern then anything else. The angels songs/words, it really all points to this being the time of Yahshua’s birth. Joy!

How liberating it is to finally be free of the “trappings” of the celebration of Christmas as the birth of Messiah. It is great to know the truth. Get rid of the pagan trash that has grown up around the truth like a cancer. I can’t wait until Yeshua judges all those early idolatrous church leaders and world rulers who polluted the things of God and perpetuated these lies throughout the centuries.
Thanks, Eliyahu, for going through the details in deciphering the timing of Messiah’s birth. Yahweh has revealed some amazing things to you. I know that it is your love of Yahweh, and for the truth, that drives you to be so precise in your teachings. I love all the detail. It makes sense to me.
Shalom,
Don

Great program. You show how the scriptures clearly reveal the correct birthdate of our Messiah. This is valuable information to me. The appointed feasts now mean much more. I praise Yahweh for revealing this to me through your program. It helps me to have a greater understanding of who He is.

Even though I commented on this program when it was re-aired a few wks. ago, I just wanted to add to it while going thru the talmidim program since its getting close to the Christmas holiday (according to Walmart anyways!)
Growing up my mother always told us that Christmas was a worldly holiday that had nothing to do with the birth of our Messiah. I cant remember her telling us when she thought He was born or conceived though.
Since growing up, I’ve celebrated Christmas with my children, but always knew that the worldliness of it was overwhelming. Since reading Holy Time and realizing what we are celebrating, I’ve realized so much. We wont be celebrating Christmas this year and my kids havent even complained that much. Praise God.
I learned so much in this program concerning the time of the year our Lord came and I am grateful to be learning about the festivals and their meanings.
Thank you Eliyahu for all the time and studying you put into these programs.

What spoke to me in this teaching was the babylonian source of the modern jewish calendar. That can’t be a good thing. In addition, the timing of the official adoption of the babylonian calendar being the fourth century, when so much corruption was taking place. It’s just too coincidental. That alone is enough to make me take a good look at the Biblical calendar. To all the conspiracy theorists out there - they are missing the greatest conspiracy of all.
