“My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials..” (Yaakov/James 1:2). This statement of the brother of the Lord, Yaakov HaTsadeek / James the Just, sounds like nonsense to many. How is it possible to consider the various trials of life as “ALL joy?” Usually we reserve that word joy for times of abundance and blessings - not for times of trouble and trial. Yet, there is a higher truth in this inspired statement from the Book of James that equates joy with trials - a truth that is so potent that it can literally bring us through the hardest of times with joy in our heart and a song of praise upon our lips. As Yitzak’s father I see another reality for Yitzak. What I see for him is restoration. Yitzak WILL walk again! This will not come primarily by the Spiritual Gift of Healing, though many healings do come that way. Yitzak’s restoration will come primarily as a result of his father (me, Eliyahu ben David) with his mother (Dawn) standing with me, exercising God-given dominion walking in His Holy Order as intended for man by the Creator from the founding of the world. The life, death, resurrection and ascension of Y’shua Messiah has restored this dominion to us and we will exercise it in righteousness to secure the restoration of our son.
