Shavuot / Pentecost Early Rains #69
Posted by TsiyonApr 27
On the Shavuot / Pentecost of 33 C.E. amazing events unfolded in Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit filled the talmidim of Yeshua and they all began speaking in other tongues - languages they had never learned to speak. The purpose of this startling gift of the Spirit was to empower those first disciples to communicate with Israelites from every corner of the known world who spoke all of those different native languages and who had traveled to Jerusalem to observe Shavuot there. Those travelers were in awe to hear the good news about Yeshua the Messiah spoken to them each in his own native language by simple country folk from Galilee! Not only that, but they had earlier witnessed unusual signs in the heavens and earth testifying to them of things they did not yet understand. As they wondered at these miracles Peter / Kefa and the rest of the Emissaries boldly explained to them from the prophecies of Joel and David how these signs bore divine witness to Yeshua the Nazarean whom their nation had offered up to be killed, but who had defeated death and sat at the right hand of God in Heaven! Why was all this happening THEN? They were living in the LAST DAYS! In this program you will learn what all of this meant in those last days - and what it means for these last days in which we NOW live.

Greetings to all,
Well here we go with the balance theme.Maybe this is a stretch but if we look at the conditions of the Black Horse Rider. We notice that The Elite if you will will do well by the “World’s” standard while the rest of us get the shaft.Well these scriptures in Joel as described by Peter just might “Balance” this out for the believers. We of course could care less for the world’s Fruits, so we will receive as the “Hand Maidens” and ” Servants” the Holy Spirit as our survival pack.Again maybe a stretch but a hopeful one at that.
This is a powerful scene that unfolds for us in Acts.I again must admit I blew right by it numerous times. So I am glad we covered this important day in the Big Picture. That it is still talked about today is testament to the power of that day.
Praise Yahweh
Fred

The hearers of the Israelites who were tellin of the glory of Yahweh in different languages raised a question. What does this mean? Another question could have been, Could this be what was spoken by the prophets?Peter gave the history of the prophetic words that spoke of a time when the Messiah would come and dwell with His people. Peter reminded the Israelites of the prophecies that foretold and lead up to this day. He was answering their question with the scriptures that they had read. Perhaps the disciples who had traveled to these countries and told of Yahshua’s ministry and His acts had drawn all these believers as never before. Pesach and Shavuot were two of the three feast days that Yahweh had commanded that all males should appear before Him. Whatever the reason for this great multitude of believers in Jerusalem; the outpouring of the Ruach Hakodesh heralded a major shift in how the believers lives would forever be affected.
The Hope of Israel had come, and He had fulfilled all the prophecies that foretold of His first coming and the work He would do. As they did then, we now do. We wait for the return of our Messiah to end this crooked and perverse generation. Our hope is in the promises He made to return and what will follow. HalleluYah!!!!

Early rain message, given in the Acts,
genesis of the harvest, with a 3000 soul impact!
Message by Peter, cut to the bone,
specifically to Jews, who call Jerusalem home!
“What should we do?”, became their battle cry!
Repent and believe in Yeshua, you know why?
Led to the slaughter, as a Perfect Man,
Yeshua’s life’s destiny, the Passover Lamb!
His death was so gruesome, being hung on a tree!
His sacrifice, offering redemption, for you and for me!
Yeshua arose, death could not contain,
ascended to His place, with Yahweh, ready to reign!
Invitation complete, the 3000 to leave,
Holy Spirit accompaning, with those who believe!
The latter rain message, prophetic for us,
annointing us all, with this Holy Spirit Trust!
Repent and believe, the invitation’s been sent!
The belief in Messiah, is a life well spent!

Very inspiring and encouraging message about the pouring out of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. His timing is perfect. This came on a day when I needed to be encouraged and lifted up. Thanks Eliyahu.
The Early Rains must have been a wonderfully refreshing and energizing experience for Kefa and the Talmidim. Certainly life changing for those who received The Spirit. How much more so will the Latter Rains be for His Remnant. I can hardly wait! My prayer is that I would be counted worthy to be among those who partake in that glorious event, so that His name would be glorified in all the earth.
Praise to Yah, the God of Israel and of all who call upon His Holy Name.
Shalom,
Don

This program is a fine exposition of what occured that day when The Holy Ghost came upon the believers. Since I became a believer I understood the early rains and latter rains as the out pouring of The Holy Ghost. This program has brought to light some details which I’ve missed before.

Great message. Thank you. I am looking forward to (the latter rains) this greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit and seeing the believers reunited in unity and returned to the land.
