The new Kingdom Shekel, a true half troy ounce,
pure silver that’s pecious, get’em at once!
Redemption at last, a five shekel cure,
born first in your family, protection for sure.

Follow the patriarch, take him to heart,
blessing or curse, your words will impart!
Belief in the Word, Abraham was told,
totally blessed by the covenant of old!

Number the Sons, the Lord had once said,
Moses to count, a half shekel a head.
Words that give life, hear what He speaks,
won’t remove strife, gives love that we seek!

So when when the blast blows,
have the knowledge to know,
The King of our nation,

Great program. Q? -When they gave up 5 sheckels, did that deed spare the lives of the first born son of the Israelites? or were they still struck down dead? I am confused about this part. I thought that if the blood was on the doorpost then the angel would passover that household and the first born son would remain alive.
