I am really enjoying these shows, and I can relate to how you were talking about people hating Israel. In my Philosophy class I am an out cast because I disagree with my teacher and other students. They believe Israel should just stop acting how they are, and should give part of the land away. My teacher does not say the word hate, but I can see it in her eyes every time she speaks of the poor Palestine people being mistreated. When I try to defend Israel or explain why this can not happen, she reminds me that this is not Philosophy of religion class! It’s very frustrating, but unfortunately she is not the only person reacting this way about Israel. It has become very common thinking here in California where I live.
As always; I was blessed from you teaching. Thank you Denice Newton for your great questions and input as well. Another Awesome show!
Thank you, Nancy

The topic of sin and accountability in this segment is one that perked my ears especially regarding the lack of attention on this topic in the church system. Having explained many times over to my children, just as we have rules in our household, our Creator has laws for us to live by, and both are for the same purpose of so that we may all live in safety and peace. Yeshua our Messiah did not come to abolish the law as He states in Matthew 5:17-18 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” Ephesians 2:14-18 “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.” Tsiyon Ministries explained this particular verse in awesome detail in one of their segments. It is clear the wall of separation is between Jew and Gentile. The “law of the commandments contained in the ordinances” is more properly translated from the Hebrew as the “doctrines created by man”, the very doctrines that continue to prevent Jew and Gentile from becoming one. Additionally, throughout Yeshua’s interactions with the pharisees, it’s clear that the “burdens of the Jews” not to be placed on the Gentiles are the very burdens that have led to some really bizarre kitchens. Just as the church is preaching that the Law has been done away with, many Messianic Jewish synogogues, who, while they profess the name of Yeshua as Messiah, hold firm that Torah is not for Gentiles. If we contend that the Bible does not contradict itself, we must acknowledge from the verses above and a multitude of others, that Yeshua did not come so we can continually violate the commandments of God and simply ask for forgiveness on the backend. Psalms 119:4-6 “You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently. Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes! Then I shall not be put to shame, having my eyes fixed on all your commandments.” We must always remember: God does NOT change.
Blessings and Shalom
