Starting with Mattew 9:2-8, we see Yeshua heal a man of palsy. We are taught to see this manifestation of power as originating the power of the Son of God; however, Yeshua refers to Himself here as the Son of Man. Why? He shows us thereby that He is acting with that dominion which was originally given to man. That is to say that He is demonstrating what we as His disciples can be capable of. As He said in another place, when a disciple has finished his apprenticeship, he is as his teacher; and in yet another place He said that his disciples would do even greater works than He, because He was going to His Father.

But it is to be stressed that these capabilities are not to be used for self-glorification but for the furtherance of God’s Kingdom, for the purpose of exercising dominion over the earth, as was our original purpose.

Looking that at John 10:29-36, we find the Jews prepared to stone Yeshua, because He said He and the Father are one, thusly, identifying Himself as the Son of God. He then pointed to Psalm 82 to show them that Yahwe had referred to men as “gods” - not in the sense of being worthy of worship but as “powerful ones”. Indeed the power that we have and the dominion that we are to exercise is for good, for the sake of others and not for ourselves. As Yeshua said in another place that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them but our leaders are to be the servants of all.

Just how far this dominion could go is shown on the example of Peter walking on water with reference to our Lord having said that we could tell a mountain to be moved from its place - if we would believe; if we would “step up” and claim the dominion we are called to.

Mind-boggling for sure, but I am beginning to understand … and can only say as did the father of the one boy possessed of a demon that the disciples could not cast out: I believe - please help my unbelief!

I have to admit to seriously needing a spiritual workout, about 99.9% of my life is soulish.. I guess that makes me no better than my dog or cat. I know God has a plan for me and a role, I believe! But I find it so very difficult to step up and be anything more than I am right now. It makes me worry about the overcoming that I am not doing either. Gosh, serious food for thought, thanks so much for challenging me and feeding meat from the word.

Yeshua as the father of the faithful, what a beautiful picture, how blessed we are that have put our faith in Him. Yah be praised! Why had I never noticed Yeshua calling the paralysed man in Matthew 9:2 “son”? One small word, but such depth of meaning. Thank you for explaining this to me.

What really moved me about this session was the need for us to take back dominion. This is a completely new message to me, one I really needed to hear. The image of Peter walking on water and displaying the power of this dominion was awe inspiring! I had always thought of that episode in negative terms, I have heard so much negative said of Peter that I am appalled. What a man he truly was, what a talmidim. I pray to have faith like Peter.

This is such an important message. It’s time to take back dominion Remnant!

I have a new perspective on who my Messiah is and who I am in Him. As a “MAN” He came into the world thru woman-to take back what Adam lost for us, our inheritance. Truly everything that He did on earth was to fullfill the “plan”. To restore the dominion that Adam gave to satan; that dominion that he wants us to believe still belongs to him this very day. How fooled we have been, I have been! I feel like I have been liberated. Thank you Eliyahu. I’m kinda angry that the church isnt teaching the sheep this message. We hear that we’ve been redeemed………that we have new life in Christ……..but then it stops there. They dont explain it the way the scriptures really teach it, I dont think they even understand themselves. We need Shepards to TEACH us. Thank you for “teaching” me. I know that Yahweh is using you for a mighty work.

We have been SET FREE from the bondage! How many years I’ve walked defeated!!
We have to take back the Dominion and walk closely with our Messiah Yeshua. We need Him every moment to help us crush satan.

This was almost overwhelming…………Thank you. I needed a wake up!

What a powerful teaching on the power and authority that we have as the “sons of Elohim” manifested in the flesh (men), as Yeshua was manifested in the flesh (Son of man) winning back the dominion on the earth that Adam gave up in the Garden.

The Son of Man has power to forgive sins. We have power to forgive sins. To whom you forgive, they are forgiven; to whom you remit, they are remitted. With this authority, we are cautioned by Yeshua when He said, “If you forgive men their trespasses, your Father will forgive your trespasses; if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

Now I can better understand this passage, “All creation groans in travail waiting for the manifestation of the “sons of Elohim.”

Thanks for explaining the relationship between body, soul and spirit. I know I have heard it explained before but it never made any real sense. Now I get it.

Taking back dominion over the earth for the sake of the weak, the fatherless, the needy, the one who can’t defend himself against the wicked. Exercising dominion over the earth for righteous causes, not for our own benefit. What a noble thing!

I love your closing statement about the remnant who are going to take dominion in this world and will be a special possession for Yahweh who He can point to and say that we are His people walking in dominion in this earth. And then you point out that this is the “Glorious Freedom of the children of God”. Glorious Freedom… what a sweet sound to my ear.

Father, exercise and strengthen my spirit that I would be able to take back the dominion in the earth as you had planned from the beginning and to use it for your good purpose. In Yeshua’s Holy name.
