 "There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars."  Luke 21:25

And when He had opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake. And the sun became black, like sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs when she is shaken by a mighty wind. And the heaven departed like a scroll when it is rolled together. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Revelation 6:12-14

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains. And they said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of His wrath has come, and who will be able to stand?     the souls of those
    who had been killed
    for the Word of God,

    of the Lamb
    which they held.

    They cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true,
    until you judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
    A long white robe was given to each of them.
    They were told that they should rest yet for a while,
    until their fellow servants and their brothers,
    who would also be killed even as they were,
    should complete their course.     Revelation 6:9-11
