Tent of David #77

The Tent of David, the Tabernacle of David, the Booth of David are three names for the same thing - but what is it? Through the prophet Amos Yahweh said; In that day I will raise up the tent of David who is fallen, and close up its breaches, and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old (Amos 9:11, Acts 15:15). Yahweh promised to restore the Tent of David! This promise is profoundly important to all of us, yet it is little understood. Today there are many teachings on the Tent of David. Some say it has to do with restoration of Davidic music and dance. Some say it is a new emphasis on the Psalms. Others say it is “the Church.” In this program you will learn what the Tent of David actually is BEYOND DOUBT, and you will learn what it’s great significance was to the early believers. Here’s a hint; to them it was a source of their great unity and effectiveness in fulfilling their mission in the first century! The restoration of the Tent of David is absolutely key to restoring that same unity and effectiveness of those first century believers to the remnant of Israel in this final generation. One more thing: In this program we are making an announcement of Biblical proportions. Don’t miss it!

Greetings to all,
Well this hour leaves me with a lot of questions. First of which is ,Where is the Tent of David today?
Interesting though looking at Acts the way we have in this series. There is a much bigger picture in these chapter’s than I saw before. To see the Authority James had ,and how he handled it is Humbling. And I think there is a valuable lesson to where our Heart should be…on Yahweh. It is not up to us how this is going to play out.It is that this Tent is going up and Bigger than ever before.Someone needs to show up before the others to clear the ground, raise the poles, drive in the stakes, and make the preparations for the remnant to gather. I hope to be part of this. I know that Yahweh has moved in my life and I don’t thank of myself as an Israelite. But I know how thankful I am to him .I know that I worship Yahweh with all my Heart, and no preacher could take that away. I am proof that he can work in anyone so who can put a yoke on me? Or anyone for that matter. This is where James is coming from.If Yahweh is working it is because he can,and you should not get in his way. I see it as tempting Yahweh to tweak his Gospel and stop his work because of our pride. Tough lesson to really learn ,maybe, but when he becomes the center of our life, the choices become easier. The path becomes clearer ,and we start to seek him and look for the Tent of David.

Reading this passage of scripture in Amos with new eyes and new understanding. How wonderful is Yahweh in His faithfulness to keep covenant with the House of David. His righteous judgment of the evil leaders in the line of David and yet preserve righteous seed. Also, that Yahweh would preserve all the House of Israel; thus restoring the ten tribes back into the kingdom.
My understanding is that circumcision is not a requirement for salvation. However, according to the Torah, to eat the Pesach meal one must be circumcised…James gave guidelines to help the “gentile” converts to assimilate back into the kingdom of Yahweh; thus giving them time to grow in their faith and sanctification.
First, it would take a step of faith for those who must believe others who are claiming to be of the House of David since there are no records to prove their claims. Righteous leaders who are truly examples to the people. Teaching the principles of the Kingdom in sincerity and in truth. It will be exciting to see this restoration of the tent of David.
