Jesus/Yeshua is the gate through which one enters into the way of righteousness - that way of walking with God in a personal relationship being transformed in the inner man by absorbing His Word and the working of the Holy Spirit ("for it is God which is at work in you both to do and to will of His good pleasure.")

To properly understand God's Torah/Instruction one must interpret it in light of the basic principles which are the two great commandments - first and foremost being that we are to love God with our whole being. There can be nothing that we love more than God. (O Lord, my God, do please give me such a love of you!)

More: Torah must also be understood from the nature of God - which is love. As is written "I desire mercy and not sacrifice." The incident with the shew bread is a very good example of this. God is love; however, we must be careful to not twist God's Word in such a way that we can then condone, say, adultery in the name of love.

I must constantly remember the excesses of David Koresh when he would in the name of God for whom he claimed to speak, claiming that he was a prophet, take a married woman from her husband and take her for himself. I shudder at the terribleness of such delusion. "To the law and to the testimony! If they speak not according to this, there is no light in them."

Praise be to God for His Word. Praise be to God for His Spirit which we are given as an assurance when by the grace of God we are allowed to enter into the way of righteousness through the gate which is Yeshua and which is narrow and which not many find. Praise be to God for he teaching of His Word, for the teaching of Truth.

Let me close with some of that beautiful hymn "Trust and Obey":

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, what a glory He sheds on our way.

But we never can know the delights of His love until all on the altar we lay. For the favour He shows, for the joy he bestows are for them that will trust and obey.

Trust and obey for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus, than to trust and obey.

Amen.

Hello folks,
Cool program Eliyahu. This program really shows that the Torah and all of Yahs laws are not burdonsome but really rather easy to follow. Its just that so many realigeous leaders take the laws and over complicate them. I know of people that restrict themselves so much especially when it comes to Sabbath that it is a depressing day,and that was never Yahwehs plan. Just another way for the devil to make being a believer in Yah a pain so no one wants to.

Its also always fun when Yeshuah backs them slow in the head Pharisees into a corner. Being he inspired the scriptures he knows how to use them real well.

Anyway i think that's about it for me. See ya next time. Take care y'all :)

Amen brother!! Your teachings are so very refreshing, like a fountain of life to my soul. Much of what you say is what I have believed for years, however since they are not popular teachings due to the freedom of Truth, I often found myself trying to explain it's more important to have heart than ridged law keeping. Power seekers never like freedom for anyone but their own hypocritical selves.
It's so sad to watch those who buy into the physical and never gain understanding of the spiritual. Is it because they love NOT the Truth?
When I was young and first coming to the knowledge of the scriptures, I made a decision to believe the good book. Since only the NT was being taught I didn't know that these great verses had their root in Torah, I still could believe them just the same, which I did. Praise God.
~~Oh Father, thank you again for redeeming me from wickedness and opening my eyes so I may eat the 'bread of life' Yashua. ~~

You know, no matter where I am currently studying in the Word, I usually like to flip over to the Psalms when I pray. It preps my heart. So, these lessons on David, and his relationship to Yah are very meaningful. Now, I want to go back and read the Psalms with new insight.
When the Brit Hadasha speaks of the Torah of freedom that was Yeshua's, I was always a little concerned about that, because it seemed to indicate a different Torah. Thank you for helping us to understand that the difference is that it is different than the other gnostic religions were teaching. Yeshua taught pure, unadulterated Torah.

Yeshua is the gate of Yahweh. This was a great session for me, it really helped to tie together everything that Eliyahu has taught up to this point. The Way of Righteousness of our Yeshua, so clearly seen and followed by David is the only way we should be heading. Surrender is key. David's total surrender to Yahweh, and his relationship with "his Yeshua" are such wonderful examples to us.

The more I think about it, the more I can see just how cold and distant religion is, it keeps us trapped in a set of man made rules that no-one alive can possibly live up to. We cannot do anything without a personal relationship with our God, knowing Yeshua is the only Way, HE is the gate to YHWH. So clear and so beautiful! Thank you.

David is such an interesting person in scripture and Its so neat to learn more about him. The fact that he had a heart like his Lord's just becomes more clear. To think that he walked right along with Yeshua in his lifetime is such a wonderful and beautiful picture.

Your right about the importance of that Living Relationship with our God. Without it we lack everything. I like what Dawn said about "Death to self will to live out Gods will". We have to depend on Him and stay on His path.

I'm new to learning anything "Hebrew or Jewish" so bear with me. I thought it was so neat that you said Salvation stood for the Hebrew word "Yeshua". Makes sense, He is our salvation!. He is the Gate that we have to enter into and few are those who find it. The way of Righteousness is thru the narrow gate, thru Yeshua. We have to walk with Him like David did.

The verses in John 10 that talk about the sheep have always been so dear to my heart, like you said, "so very personal". His sheep know Him and they hear His voice. Its just so very precious.

Thank you for all your hard work putting these programs together. Many are gaining blessings beyond words. I know I am.

I learned so much in this session about the importance of knowing Yeshua and being known by him. It is so important that we enter in through the Gate because so many people will say in that day "Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in your name.." and then get rejected. The thought of being rejected absolutely terrifies me, how I long to know Yeshua more and more deeply and be on the way of righteousness, the road to Tsiyon.

Thank you for showing us more about David and what a wonderful, righteous man he was, too.

This teaching has given me a greater and fuller understanding of the way of salvation and righteousness than I have been taught in the past. It is about fully trusting Yeshua and surrendering our agendas for his. This is what I want for my life. When you view the scriptures with God's character in mind it is great. Not just a set of rules but instruction from a loving Father who cares for the welfare of all men. If we obey these humbly and look to him for help we will be blessed. If we set up our own way we will be empty and frustrated. The teaching on Yeshua's words to the pharisees concerning their sin of condemning the guiltless is very helpful to understand God's perfect way of righteousness. The teaching in Psalm 118 about the gate and how that is really talking about Yeshua is very important to me. I see men like David had a relationship with Yeshua before his being born this is powerful. I can now link these verses with the NT verses you mentioned and see exactly what Yeshua was talking about. Thank You.

I am learning so much about the Pharisees and how they didn't have, or want, a personal relationship with God. This is also true of many in todays Chritisan church as well. When Yeshua speaks of the narrow gate being the only way and that few find it, it makes me rejoice for those that choose Him. Then I think of those that choose the wide gate and that "many" go by that way. My heart breaks when I ponder the full scope of what that means. Many choose not to follow Yeshua and choose to go down to destruction. I can't phathom why anybody would choose to go that way. Are pride and greed so powerful, and their effects so addicting that someone would rather have the few momentary pleasures that the world has to offer than to have ETERNAL LIFE with our CREATOR. I have never been able to wrap my head around that concept. But I've also never been able to understand why Satan rebelled against Yahweh either when he knew and saw and experienced the very Glory and Prescence of Yahweh. I don't get it.
I thank the Father that David had a heart for Him. I have learned much about David and his relationship with Yeshua (before Yeshua was borne on this earth). My continued prayer is that Yahweh would form my heart into one like David's.

Shalom!
