Yeshua the Tsadeek #37
Posted by TsiyonSep 29
Who was Yeshua in the eyes of His contemporaries when He stepped on the public stage in the first century? In the beginning He was not yet known by His people to be the Messiah, much less the Son of God. Yet, the common people, including the oppressed, the blind, the sick and the lame flocked to Him. From the start people swarmed around Him to hear what He had to say. Yeshua had a special standing in His nation due to being of the royal line of David! This program brings Yeshua’s role as a son of David into sharper focus to give us a clearer picture of how He was perceived in the first century Jewish world. While the people of that day thought they were assessing Him, they were really the ones who were being sifted and even judged on the basis of what they did regarding Him. To this day it continues to be so.

Amazing lesson, Amazing timing. Sometimes I am just awestruck by the compassion and love by our Creator. He knows our needs and guides us to be where we need to be at the precise time we need to be there. I was pondering a number of questions and scenarios of first century and exactly what group comprised those who were following Torah at the time of Yahshua….did the religion of Judaism actually exist or was it created later to indicate a separate religion from Christianity. Understanding Yahshua as the Tsadeek helped clarify what was considered righteous during that time. This also helped me understand why the leadership at the time ruled without authority and why they were so anxious about the ruling of the House of David. I agree that it is crucial to be careful who you choose to follow and submit to but I am struggling with understanding the role of those who lead and are in authority in Kingship….House of David, and those who’s role is to serve and guide in Torah, the Priestly Role. As you indicated earlier, those two roles were separate and combined by man, last example I believe was Ezra was the Moral Worship Leader and Nehemiah was the Davidic Leader. It seems that Yahshua filled the High Priest Role as the Tsadeek but will not fulfill the role of King, from the House of David until he Returns…keeping if you will a separation of those roles….which leads to the question, when we are looking to whom do we submit, is not the point The Messiah came to endorse….Follow me; Are we not only to learn from those who follow Yahshua but not to follow them….I believe that is how most individuals lose focus; they take their eyes off the target of Torah/The Word made Flesh/The Living Torah - Yahshua himself, and look to another man, who is bound to fail, no matter how righteous he is.
Shalom,
Christine

What I liked about this program or what really touched me, was the faith ,this poor man had in Yahweh’s Word, & the Davidic Covenant. He believed & knew, it was the responsibility of the house of David to take care of the poor. He believed he was going to be healed. He knew that Yeshua is the Son of David & called out to Him, for mercy on him.
Today many of the poor people are looking for help from the government, yes, I have to included myself too. We all need to go back to the plan & order & leadership, that Yahweh had constructed, the way He designed it to be.
This includes back to keeping the Torah & constantly seeking the Truth from above.. Yahweh needs to be our first love. With Yeshua the Messiah in our lives & hearts, we can keep His Torah, even though we aren’t perfect, we can choose to be obedient & choose to follow His Word.
This poor man’s faith in Yahweh’s word & in the covenant that Yahweh made with David, is so encouraging to believers like myself. Thank U for pointing out, what the Son of David meant, to those people in that day.
Great program.

I never realized that Yeshua and all that He did in His ministry while here on earth were to fulfill His duties under the covenant that was made with YHWH to the House of David., nor did I relize that He was HaTasadeek. I had always understood His ministry to come from His authority being the Son of God. Yet seeing that both of His roles (the Son of David and the Son of God) were at play in His ministry is quite enlightening and brings a whole new perspective to the Scriptures. Thanks so much for enlightening us to this truth!

This is a good example of something I missed before. The scripture was there all along but I was missing the point. It is interesting to find that Yeshua would have been the heir to the Human throne. But took the eternal throne instead. He is our King now and forever. Like “PraiseToYah” above I always thought that Yeshua’s authority was simply becuase he was the son of God.But as we have found through this series there is so much more to his authority.Yahweh said that a Davidic leader would be on the throne forever and Yeshua is still there after all of these years.”Hail King Yeshua”"Hail King Yeshua”
Blessings to all

Tune into the Hebraic history station,
learn the house of David, throughout the Israeli nation!
Searching all of the leaders, we have to seek,
the leadership of righteousness, called the Tsadeek!
Joseph was much more than sunday school lessons,
walked the way of righteousness, receiving the blessings!
As an angel of God told him to name the Son,
a rightful Davidic heir, He is the one!
Way of righteousness is how Tsadeek does walk,
Joseph took this path, never to balk,
took Mary to be his wife, he would love,
merciful leader, adopted the Son from above!
Son of David, rightful heir to the throne,
yet Roman empire, had ideas of its own!
Destroying the records and forging ancestry,
they place their own, into government agency.
Yeshua grows into this political corruption,
leading in the Way, seen as an act of rebellion!
The people know of the real authority,
the covenant people of Davidic ancestry!
Yeshua came to give sight to the blind,
we must be crossingover, while their is still time!
Trust in the faith, repent says Elijah,
getting to know the Son of David, Yeshua, Messiah!
