The Lion of Judah has overcome!

The Silver Kingdom Shekel and Shekelim commemorates Messiah as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah Who has overcome!

This is a “Messianic” ministry. What does that mean?

Simply this: This Ministry is fully devoted to and is under the authority of Y’shua the Messiah, following Him in His Way, operating in His authority, doing His work, building up His Kingdom.

For us, “Messianic” does not mean being part of any sect, movement or denomination, keeping the customs of any such group, or being part of a social club of one sort or another. It is all about a relationship with the Person of Y’shua Messiah and obeying Him, even as He obeys His Father. We owe everything to Him. Therefore, we are His slaves. Slaves? Yes, in that slaves are property, bought with a price – which we confess to be true of us. We are brothers, sisters and friends of Messiah and of one another as well – but it all starts with being His slaves, and He being our Master, which relationship we gladly and gratefully embrace as our own. (See Matthew 24:45-51, 25:14-30, 1 Corinthians 6:20, 7:23, Revelation 7:3)

You might be wondering now, “OK, if its all about Him what is the Hebrew name and flavor of this ministry all about?” Again, it’s about Him. He is a Hebrew and a Jew. He modeled for us the Way to walk according to the Hebrew Scriptures, and urged us to live the same way. The name we use is His name in His native language, Hebrew, whether people prefer to spell it Y’shua as we usually do, or Yeshua, Yahshua, Yehoshua, or some other form of the  Hebrew name. While we don’t condemn anyone for honoring the Person of Messiah in the name “Jesus Christ” as being familiar to them, we don’t generally use that name because, frankly, that name now represents a step away from the true Hebrew identity of our Messiah. Under that name of “Jesus” Christendom has adopted pagan customs and ways foreign to our Messiah, has apostatized away from the truth, and has spilt much innocent blood. We’re no more a part of that than He is – which is why we use His real Hebrew name.

All of that is kindergarten to us, but we mention it here because we know some folks start with questions about such things. What is not kindergarten is this: Messiah is alive and well and ruling from heaven right now. He is doing things in the earth and we are a part of those things. Many of our radio programs, books and messages focus on Who He is and what He is doing right now. That’s where we live and if that’s where you live too then you need to get better acquainted with our message.

For those of you who are still struggling with the question of whether or not Y’shua  / “Jesus” is really the Messiah, we understand where you are at. We feel for you, because your eternal future hangs in the balance on what you decide about Him. Friend, there is abundant evidence that He is Who the Scriptures say He is. Y’shua Messiah fulfilled over 450 prophecies, all recorded in Scripture hundreds of years before He walked the earth. Many of these prophecies were of a nature that they could not be duplicated or faked. Indeed, none of us can control where we are born, where we live as a child, who our ancestors were or how we will die. Yet, all of this and much more, in great detail, marked out the life of Messiah on earth before ever He was born, and the inspired record shows that He fulfilled this complex prophetic pattern in every detail. This is the Divine stamp upon this one man in all of human history as being the Messiah. He is the One and there is no other!

Here are a few prophecies (out of the 450+) that Messiah fulfilled:

  • God with us  (Isaiah 7:14 700 BC, Matthew 1:23)
  • Born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:2 700 BC, Matthew 2:1)
  • From Nazareth–a Nararean (Isaiah 9:1-2 700 BC, Matthew 4:13-16)
  • Come out of Egypt as child (Hosea 11:1  725 BC, Matthew 2:14-15)
  • Descended from Judah (Isaiah 37:31 700 BC, Matthew 1:1-2, 16)
  • Descended from Jesse (Isaiah 11:1-5 700 BC, Matthew 1:1-2a, 5-6, 16)
  • Descended from David (Isaiah 16:5 700 BC, Matthew 1:1-2A, 6, 16)
  • No Bones Broken (Psalm 34:20 1000 BC, John 19:33; 36a)
  • Beaten with a Rod (Micah 5:1 700 BC, Mark 15:19)
  • Vinegar and Gall to Drink (Psalm 69:21 1000 BC, Matthew 27:34, 48)
  • Hands and Feet Nailed (Psalm 22:16 1000 BC, John 20:25)
  • Gambling for His Clothing (Psalm 22:18 1000 BC, Matthew 27:35)
  • Betrayed for exactly 30 pieces of silver (Zechariah 11:12  500 BC, Matthew 26:14-15)
  • 30 pieces of silver returned (Zechariah 11:12-13 500 BC, Matthew 27:3-10)
  • 30 pieces used to buy the potter’s field (Zechariah 11:12-13 500 BC, Matthew 27:3-10)
  • BORN OF A VIRGIN! (Isaiah 7:14 700 BC, Matthew 1:20-23)
  • R E S U R R E C T I O N ! ! !  (Isaiah 53:8, 11 700 BC, Matthew 28:2, 5-7, 9)

As important as all of that solid evidence is, in the end it is a matter of the heart. We know Messiah. Listen to our programs. Pray for understanding, and that He will be revealed to you. If you will do this with an open heart then you will meet Him in the message, and He will become real to you. When that happens, your life will be forever profoundly changed. Will you be saved? Yes, if you repent and receive Him as your Lord and Savior, and follow Him. However, being saved is nothing more than a baby being delivered. It is only a start, a wonderful start, but just a start nonetheless. It is what happens AFTER you are saved that is much more the focus of this ministry.

For who among men knows the things of a man, except the spirit
of the man, which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God, except
God’s Spirit. But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which
is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.
Which things also we speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which
the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things. Now
the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are
foolishness to him, and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually
discerned. But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is judged
by no one. “For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct
him?” But we have Messiah’s mind.
